For over fifty years, Italgel has been among the leading global producers of gelatine and hydrolyzed collagen, with a portfolio that includes Gelatine, Collagen Peptides and Specialities for the food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and beauty markets. Founded in Santa Vittoria d’Alba, in Piedmont (Italy), the company operates through an international commercial network and serves clients in numerous countries with a product‑centric, performance‑oriented approach.
Our promise is simple: consistent technical specifications batch after batch, and customized solutions based on the customer’s processes (bovine/pork/fish origin, Bloom range, viscosity, solubility). Quality and traceability are embedded throughout the entire supply chain, in line with the standards required by the most demanding applications.
Growth is driven by responsible investments: a 2 MW photovoltaic plant, 2.7 MW cogeneration with heat recovery, and continuous improvement in energy efficiency. Commercial presences in Poland and Japan bring Italgel closer to global partners and reflect our way of operating: building solid relationships and delivering fluid solutions that scale.
